Things you would want to do with your Camera

|

|
To zoom in on these pictures, open them, then slowly move your mouse on and off the picture until you see a
box appear in the lower right, click it.

Steps to taking a Digital Still...
|
|
1. Make sure Camera is turned on.
|
|
2. Turn the MODE selector to "STILL".(see ref. pg.1 #2)
|
|
3. Point at whatever your taking a picture of and look through the viewfinder.
|
|
4. Hold the Go button down half way so that the camera can focus itself.(see ref. pg.1 #3)
|
|
5. Once the little green light on the screen stops blinking then click the Go button all the way down.
|
|
Congratulations!!! Your picture is now stored on the camera's memory stick.
|
|
|
|
Reviewing a picture you just took to possibly delete it...
|
|
1. Take a picture using the steps outlined above.
|
|
2. Press left on the Control button, this should bring up the picture and a menu.
|
|
3. To return to picture taking MODE simply press the center of the Control button to select "RETURN".
|
|
4. To delete the picture from memory press left on the Control button and then the center to select "DELETE".
|
|
5. Lastly select "OK" and then hit the center of the Control button.
|
|
|
|
Setting to take a timer picture...
|
|
1. Turn on the camera in "STILL" mode using the MODE selector.
|
|
2. Now press up on the Control button, this should bring up a menu.(see ref. pg.2 #4)
|
|
3. Scroll left using the Control button until the clock symbol is highlighted(left-most item) and select it.
|
|
4. Now the symbol should now be in the center of the screen.
|
|
5. Now aim the camera and hold down the Go button half way until the green light stops flashing.
|
|
6. When you are ready clik the Go button all the way, now hurry you have about 8-10 seconds before the camera takes a picture.
|
|
|
|
Ways to change the type of Flash...
|
|
1. Make sure you are in the "STILL" Mode on the MODE selector.
|
|
2. Locate the flash selection button in the upper left on the back side of your camera.(see ref. pg.2 #2)
|
|
3. Press this button to cycle through the 3 different types of flash(automatic, red eye and no flash).
|
|
--Automatic-the flash will be used by the camera whenever it feels the light for the picture is too low.
|
|
--Red Eye Reduction-the flash will flash twice, once right before the picture and once during to eliminate the appearance of red eyes in your subject.
|
|
--No Flash-the flash will not be used at all, this is good for outdoor shots.
|
|
|
|
Ways to change the ways in which a picture can be taken...
|
|
1. Make sure you are in the Picture Mode on the selection Dial.
|
|
2. Locate the Program AE button in the bottom left on the back side of your camera.(see ref. pg.2 #6)
|
|
3. Press this button to cycle through the 8 different types of picture taking modes.
|
|
NOTE: you don't need to know the names of them all just witch to one and see what it does to the picture on the screen.
